How Did G-Tek Start?

Great Question! G-Tek started as an Idea, I knew about but never dreamed would become reality. From a very young age, I was always interested in Teknology!

Established in 2019.

G-Tek started in 2019, shortly after I finished high school. The brand came to life while I was messing around on Photoshop; I designed a clean, techy logo inspired by Apple’s aesthetic, paired it with the ‘G,’ and everything clicked. But the real reason I started this business goes back further. Growing up, I used to hang out at our local library to use the public computers, and I’d always stop what I was doing to help the seniors who were struggling with their devices. I realized early on that people often left the library still needing real, hands-on tech support. The turning point was watching an older lady at a big-box store get brushed off and told her device was just ‘garbage’ by a salesman. I absolutely hate seeing people get taken advantage of or left stranded. I founded G-Tek to be the honest, reliable alternative—a local business built on looking out for our neighbors and providing tech support you can actually trust.

What is the Purpose/Passion of G-Tek?

The foundational goal of G-Tek is to transform tech support and infrastructure services into a transparent, stress-free commodity for the Central Alberta community. We operate on the principle that every piece of technology should be serviced correctly, safely, and affordably, giving clients total peace of mind that their devices and data are secure.

The Passion for us at G-Tek is we want to make Computer Repairs a commodity, Something you look forward to at G-Tek.  The comfort and Feeling of Knowing, “My Tek is safe with G-Tek.” We want every piece of Tek to be repaired correctly,  safely, & the most important to our Customers, Affordable. Our Prices are at Least 50%-75% Cheaper than most places in Central Alberta.
