So, We have listed some of Risks with Remote Support:
1. The Technician sees what you see (Close any Pages, you dont want visible to curious eyes)
2. Your Privacy is Vulnerable (Don't leave Technicians Alone remotely on your Device) G-Tek Records all Remote Repairs & Support Sessions for Protection of Both Parties.
3. Don't Let the Strange Person on the Phone/E-Mail access your Device. They may be wanting to do Fraudelent Activites. How can I be sure then? G-Tek will never just demand for access. The Customer must ask for support. We send you a Link to the email you provided. You're in control from Step A. We always go through a small tutorial before each repair. So the client knows what to do if they feel weary/uncomfortable including how to remove us.
4. Service Limitions, we can not guarantee that your service or repair can be fully completed remotely. We may ask you to bring it down for repairs & service.
5. Giving access to unathorized users like a scammer can put your device in risk (Ransom) or they may even lock you out and change the password.
