Apple announces a special film called “Behind the Mac: Skywalker Sound

The Fourth of May is around the corner, and as you may be aware, it is a major moment for Star Wars enthusiasts. This is why Apple is promoting a new Behind the Mac movie, which will be released in a few days, with artists from the Skywalker Sound studio.

On May the 4th, go behind the Mac at Skywalker Sound to meet the artists who make the sounds of a galaxy far, far away.

Apple shows the process of making the classic sounds from the Star Wars franchise in this 68-second teaser.

“If you were to close your eyes, and just listen to the sounds, could you just identify the movie and where we are in the movie? Everything is just so… iconic,” says someone while we listen to sounds of R2-D2, Chewbacca, and a lightsaber.

Tomorrow, on May 4th, a special Behind the Mac episode will be released. Due to the similarities of a prominent phrase in the franchise, “May the Force be with you,” this date became extremely significant to Star Wars fans.

Apple is highlighting creators and other professionals who use the Mac to edit movies, create music, and 3D objects, among other things, in this series.

However, the completion of the move from Intel Macs to Apple’s own hardware is yet another crucial milestone in showcasing how powerful a Mac can be for professionals.

With the M1 Pro, M1 Max, and M1 Ultra now featured on the latest MacBook Pro and Mac Studio, Apple has also launched the Studio Display, a less expensive substitute for the 2019 Pro Display XDR.
